The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commodities Credit Analyst to join our EMEA Commodities team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing credit opinions and market research on commodities companies. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality credit analysis to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full credit analysis on commodities companies, including industry trends, financial modeling, liquidity, capital structure, and recovery analysis.
• Monitor the operating performance of rated companies, including review of public filings and private information supplied by issuers.
• Participate in issuers meetings and provide insights on credit quality.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of financial and capital markets, macro-economics, and changing business environments.
• Good knowledge of global commodities markets, including oil, gas, minerals, and sustainability trends.
• Prior credit analytics experience covering nonfinancial corporates, preferably in a credit rating agency, investment bank, or asset manager.
• Strong financial statement analysis and modeling skills, with good accounting knowledge.
• Ability to undertake rigorous analytical work and write analytical reports in English.
