Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Youth Care Specialist to join our team at Watertoren Utrecht.

About the Role: As a Youth Care Specialist, you will work positively and productively with all age carers, teams within the Council, and its partners to develop a network in your designated area and build the Shropshire Carers partnership. You will contribute to the development of new models of work and service under the supervision of the Young Carers Lead.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enter records of activities in accordance with approved Policies and Procedures.
  • Support in the organising and co-ordination of Young Carers group sessions and recreational activities.
  • Provide a first point of contact for young carers by being part of the ongoing support line rota.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A strong understanding of youth care principles and practices is also essential.
