We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As an Aspiring Education Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting children with challenging behaviour profiles, derived from social, emotional, and/or mental health difficulties/traumas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with challenging behaviour profiles, identifying their risks and needs, and escalating to senior staff members when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with a friendly, energetic, and creative team to provide a safe and secure environment for children to thrive.
- Develop and implement creative, visual, practical, and academic approaches to support the learning of young people with SEMH.
- Build trust with children, listening to their personal information and reacting in accordance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy.
- Work closely with therapists to expand your knowledge, skillset, and gain relevant practical experience, invaluable for aspiring psychotherapists, occupational therapists, educational psychologists, and speech and language therapists.

Requirements:
