Career Opportunity in Early Years Education

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Years educator to join our team at Sheffield's Northern General and Royal Hallamshire Hospitals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education to NHS staff children, while also planning and implementing engaging learning activities and resources.

As a key member of our team, you will be committed to giving children a fun, social, stimulating, and safe environment to develop and thrive.

In addition to day-to-day education, you will also be responsible for maintaining good communication and relationships with parents, as well as supporting the development of Childcare Assistants, Apprentices, and Students.

We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm and commitment to delivering exceptional education. To succeed in this role, you will need your Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification and a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To support the Senior Nursery Practitioner in ensuring an excellent quality education service and to be a good role model and support Childcare Assistants, Apprentices and Students with their development and practice.
  • To provide an interesting and stimulating learning environment which is well organised and facilitates independence and resourcefulness for the children.
  • To ensure the Development of good quality learning opportunities and activities, inside and outside which provide an interesting, inclusive and stimulating environment.
  • Providing excellent education and care opportunities for the children within your care.
  • To ensure the organisation, preparation and collection of resources in the nursery in a timely manner.
  • Planning and implementing activities and experiences which are appropriate for children of all ages and stages of development using the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and Ofsted guidelines.
  • Preparing children's work for display, ensuring that it is well presented and promotes self-esteem.
