Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented EAL Learning Support Assistant to join our thriving staff body at a secondary school in Lancashire. This is a part-time role, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, to begin from October 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver small group intervention and support students in lessons to enhance outcomes and achievement.
  • Work with EAL students, providing targeted support for language development and basic skills.
  • Liaise with class teachers to identify student needs and develop strategies for language support.
  • Provide practical support in the classroom, delivering small group intervention and promoting whole-school strategies for EAL students.
  • Collaborate with subject teachers to ensure effective use of lesson materials and support student progress.
