Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Department Head - Sales to join our team in Oxford. As a senior manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales team and driving sales growth in our Audio Visual retailer.

About the Role
In this role, you will work closely with the team to develop strategies that drive sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance operational efficiency. You will also be responsible for ensuring the three key areas of store, stock, staff are closely and efficiently managed at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To motivate and drive the sales team, leading by example and working closely with them on the sales floor.
  • To ensure the three key areas of store, stock, staff are closely and efficiently managed at all times.
  • To develop the skills and performance of all staff by identifying and delivering the appropriate training and development in order to increase sales and improve the overall efficiency of the department.
  • To maximise sales potential and profitability of the store in order to achieve performance targets.


Requirements
Proven experience of building, maintaining and growing a retail store
Preferably, you will have experience or have a keen interest in Audio Visual Products
Strong communicator and be able to lead a team to success
To be sales driven, customer focussed and highly motivated, with a proven sales track record

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is approximately £31,000 per annum plus benefits including 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, pension & Staff Discounts.
