Resident Care Specialist

As an Adult Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents. You will work collaboratively with our Care Team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care and attention. Your duties will include:
- Promoting residents' independence and autonomy
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with residents and their families
- Assisting with daily living tasks, such as medication management and personal care
- Participating in regular team meetings to discuss resident care and feedback
Key Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assisting with meal preparation and serving, as well as clearing up afterwards
- Supporting our Nurse on duty, Physiotherapist, or Chiropodist when required
- Reporting any changes in residents' conditions to the Nurse on Duty
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- An SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or working towards it
- Experience working in a care setting, preferably with older adults or individuals with disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to care
