Educational Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Educational Support Specialist to join our team at beBee Professionals in Brentwood, United Kingdom. As a key member of our educational support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our classrooms during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of regular teachers, maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged and on task.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies and procedures.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and offer support when needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and situations.
  • Patience and a positive attitude towards supporting students.
  • Flexibility to work on short notice when required.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
