Physics Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Physics Graduate to support students in achieving academic success in this exciting subject. As a key member of our team at Ribbons and Reeves, you will play a vital role in helping students grasp key concepts and develop confidence in their abilities.
The ideal candidate will possess a First-Class or 2:1 Physics degree from a top 20 UK University and have experience working with children. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring teacher to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.
About the Role:
This is a full-time, term-time only position with a long-term contract until July 2025. You will be paid £420-£490 per week on a PAYE basis. Your responsibilities will include running small groups interventions and one-to-one sessions with students, supporting teachers in planning engaging lessons, and managing the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
• Run small group interventions and one-to-one sessions with students to ensure they grasp key concepts and develop confidence in their abilities.
• Support teachers in planning engaging lessons, preparing resources, and managing the classroom.
• Comfortably support GCSE Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, as well as Sixth Form students.
• Inspire students to develop a passion for Physics and STEM subjects, supporting them in preparing for exams and practical assessments.
