We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Bushboard Ltd. in Wellingborough. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with contractors and machinery manufacturers to maintain and install equipment.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to meet the company's maintenance requirements.
- Prioritize and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
- Work independently and as part of a team to maintain a safe and productive working environment.
- Perform other duties as required by the role.
Candidates should have a time-served apprenticeship and a minimum NVQ level 3 in engineering or equivalent. Proven experience in a similar role is essential. Multiskilled engineering experience, including electrical and mechanical skills, is also required. Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and inverter drives is desirable. A good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics is also necessary, as 60% of the work involves mechanical tasks.
Working ArrangementsThis is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. One Saturday a month, 6am to 11pm, is also required. The successful candidate will be based in Wellingborough and will be expected to work independently and as part of a team.
