Job Title: Periodic/Specialist Cleaner

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Periodic/Specialist Cleaner to join our team at OCS Group. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning activities, including machine cleaning, deep cleans, high-level work using a reach & wash system, jet washing, and ad-hoc tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that cleaning is done to the highest standards.
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly.
  • Work alongside your team to support routines and workloads.
  • Work with customer representatives to address any specific requirements or concerns.
  • Manage equipment, materials, and stock levels, informing your manager of stock requests.
  • Carry out specialist cleaning duties and/or outside maintenance work.
  • Maintain a professional image at all times.

Requirements:

  • Full, clean UK driving license.
  • Specialist/Periodic cleaning experience essential.
  • Aptitude for working at height.
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
  • Reliability and responsibility with a flexible approach.
  • Strong people skills, good communication, and active listening.
  • Attention to detail and high standards of work.
  • Good relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
  • A willingness to work as a team and follow directions from both management and client.

Working Arrangements:

This role is based at JLR Gaydon, although there will be occasions when you will need to work at other JLR sites within the area. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, although some weekends may be required. Working times will be flexible to meet the needs of the business, mainly 06:00 – 15:00, although some evening and night work will be required.
