Deputy Head of Care Job Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the role of Deputy Head of Care at Progressive Care UK Limited. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children.

The Deputy Head of Care will work closely with the Home Manager to maintain a safe and supportive environment for children, while also promoting their physical, emotional, and educational development. A strong understanding of childcare legislation and Ofsted requirements is essential for this role.

Salary: £80,000 per annum (based on 40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager in maintaining a compliant, safe, and homely environment for children
  • Support children to reach their full potential through education and activities
  • Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of staff, identifying training needs and opportunities for professional growth

Requirements:

  • Level 3 in Children's Residential Childcare Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Commitment to completing Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management
  • Knowledge of childcare legislation and Ofsted requirements
