Role Summary:

The successful candidate will assist with the care of children and young people aged 12-17, ensuring a homely environment is maintained, and contributing to meeting each child's physical, emotional, social, and educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Child Development and Well-being: Build positive relationships with children and support their development, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Team Collaboration: Work within a team to advocate for children's needs and provide guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and develop less experienced staff, promoting career progression opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A Management qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • An ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills, empathy, and leadership qualities.

  • A competitive salary range of £29,720 - £37,852.80 per annum (based on an average of 40 hours per week inclusive of 4 sleep-ins per month).
