Role Description

Marmion is seeking an experienced and visionary Managing Director to drive business growth and lead their strategic direction. This critical role will support the company's founders, develop and implement strategies for revenue and EBITDA improvement, and lead the senior leadership team to deliver substantial growth in market share and brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Business Strategy: Develop and refine the company strategy in collaboration with the founders, focusing on revenue and EBITDA improvement.
  2. Drive Efficiency and Profitability: Identify, develop, and implement strategies to drive efficiency, profitability, and customer retention/acquisition, providing guidance to ensure scalability.
  3. Provide Strong Leadership: Provide leadership and support the internal efforts in achieving substantial growth in market share and brand awareness, with a key focus on expansion within the enterprise sector.
  4. Make Decisions: Exhibit expert guidance to support the founders and senior leadership team and lead on the decision-making process.
  5. Encourage Entrepreneurial Thinking: Encourage entrepreneurial thinking within the senior leadership team, while maintaining alignment with long-term goals.
  6. Develop Senior Leadership Team and Employees: Coach, mentor, and encourage the ongoing development of the senior leadership team and employees across all levels.
  7. Oversee P&L Management, Budgeting, and Financial Forecasting: Oversee P&L management, budgeting, and financial forecasting to ensure sustainable financial health and security.
  8. Maintain Company Culture: Maintain and champion the company's people-first approach, prioritising the well-being, development, and satisfaction of current and future employees.

Requirements:

  2. Experience and Skills: Proven, demonstrable, and extensive experience as a Managing Director within a business that saw substantial growth during tenure.

  4. Leadership Skills: Possess exceptional leadership skills, with a focus on people, culture, and professional development.
  5. Sustainability and Responsible Business Practices: A passion for sustainability and motivation to implement responsible business practices into operational procedures.
  6. Experience Leading Companies: Experience leading companies through transformative growth and complex transitions.
