About This Role

We're looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager (Team Lead) in Manchester. As a key member of the management team, you'll be responsible for assisting with day-to-day store operations, creating a positive environment within the store, and leading the team to achieve set goals and targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of the store team to increase sales and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Create a positive environment within the store by encouraging business initiatives and sharing best practices
  • In the absence of the Store Manager, lead the team to achieve set goals, expectations, and targets through effective coaching and training
  • Motivate and inspire the team to deliver exceptional results
  • Regularly walk the floor to maintain high store standards and ensure every customer has an exceptional experience
Requirements
  • Previous retail or commercial sales experience, preferably with store and team management experience
  • Commercially focused and results-driven, with the ability to make informed decisions
  • Motivated and able to work towards performance targets, leading by example to identify sales opportunities and achieve results
  • Inspirational leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the team
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish great relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Customer-focused, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
