Responsibilities
As a Senior Security Operations Centre Analyst at Babcock, you will work on identifying, notifying, and responding to security threats. Your role will involve conducting forensic analysis, collaborating with various resolver groups within the SOC to ensure timely mitigation of security incidents. This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Analysing and Investigating Security Events from Various Sources
- Providing System Security Advice to System Management, System Staff, and Users
Requirements
The successful candidate must have experience with methods for ethical security hacking and penetration testing. Familiarity with tools and techniques used by ethical hackers, including vulnerability scanners and network mapping tools, is also essential. Knowledge and experience of Computer Forensics are necessary. Experience with security testing tools, development of threat assessments, and security testing methodologies is advantageous. The candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
