About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Immunologist to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a Consultant in Immunology, you will be responsible for providing a clinical consultative service in immunology, with a focus on primary and secondary immunodeficiency disorders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide a clinical consultative service in immunology, with a focus on primary and secondary immunodeficiency disorders.
  • Lead the Immunology Laboratory and provide consultant input and leadership.
  • Provide a clinical outpatient consultative service in clinical allergy.

Requirements

  • On GMC Specialist Register for specialty / Specialty Registrar with CCT / CESR (Combined Programme) due within 6 months of interview date.
  • FRCPath or equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • PHD, MD, DM.
  • Sub-specialist interest.
