Job Title: Senior Buyer
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to join our team at Barclay Meade. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for managing key service providers and undertaking proactive supplier management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake proactive supplier management of key Service Providers, including supplier relationship management, contract change, escalations, risk management, and leading Governance forums.
- Be involved at all stages of the project lifecycle, starting with stakeholder and demand management, sourcing and tendering, and contract negotiation.
- Support a large-scale programme that will transform the way services are currently procured within the group.
- Perform elements of operational procurement, such as requisition and invoice approval.
Requirements:
- Experienced procurement professional within indirect/service-based procurement, including professional services, corporate services, IT, or wider.
- Able to travel to suppliers on a regular basis across the UK.
