The Opportunity

We are seeking a Health and Safety Manager - Compliance and Improvement to join our corporate team. This role will play a critical part in supporting our health and safety training and processes, while driving continuous improvement and contributing to a positive health and safety culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety management systems within the commercial construction industry.
  • Collaborate with regional health and safety teams to embed processes across the country.
  • Engage staff and sub-contractor teams to promote a practical and solutions-focused approach to health and safety.
  • Support the General Manager Health and Safety in driving continuous improvement and contributing to a positive health and safety culture.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in health and safety management within the commercial construction industry.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to influence others.
  • Appropriate level of health and safety qualifications.
  • Ability to travel monthly to various regions across New Zealand.
