Health and Safety Coordinator Role

Our client, a leading electrical contractor in Canterbury, is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Coordinator to join their team. This position offers a unique opportunity for self-development and leadership in Health and Safety within the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage H&S software to ensure it is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Ensure H&S documentation, site and vehicle audits, and toolbox talks are maintained and compliant.
  • Conduct thorough incident investigations and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Communicate policy changes to management and ensure seamless implementation.
  • Schedule and deliver safety training for all staff members.
  • Provide assistance with H&S site documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture within the team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Coordinator.
  • A strong focus on Health and Safety with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Ability to self-manage priorities and work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
  • A leader in Health and Safety with a strong track record of success.
