Job Summary:

J Witt Waste Recycling Ltd is a leading waste management company seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 driver to join our team. As a Chain lift Skip/RoRo hook-loader driver, you will be responsible for operating one of our fleets of skip trucks and RoRo trucks across Somerset and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate chain lift and RoRo vehicles in an effective, safe, and efficient manner, adhering to company requirements.
  • Assist in providing skip collections and disposal services across various locations, observing health and safety requirements and ensuring the safety of crew, equipment, self, and members of the public.
  • Provide the highest possible standard of service to customers.
  • Experience in driving and operating skip lorries is desirable.

Requirements:

  • HGV Licence (Class 2)
  • Valid CPC
  • Able to follow and adhere to company regulations and health and safety rules.
  • Able to represent the business in an appropriate manner while working independently.
  • Good work ethic
  • Effective time management skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Driving experience is essential.
  • Highly organized and able to anticipate requirements and prioritize a changing workload.
