Job Description

  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis

Develop and oversee financial reporting within the company, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information to stakeholders.

  1. Management Accounts and Budgeting

Produce management accounts monthly, working closely with the division finance manager and parent Group finance team to ensure alignment with company goals.

  1. Results and Performance

Assist with producing monthly results for discussion with senior management within Business Unit reviews, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

  1. Financial Operations and Governance

Oversee AR, AP, and banking functions within the finance team, ensuring efficient and effective financial operations.

  1. Accounting and Tax Compliance

Ensure that accounting information is prepared using appropriate accounting policies and estimates, and that these are understood in detail.

  1. Annual Budget and Forecasting

Manage the annual budget process, including the collation of information and preparation of reports, reporting to division finance manager.

  1. Cash Management and Forecasting

Perform daily cash management and weekly cash forecasting to ensure accurate financial projections.

  1. Tax Risk Management

Liaise with group tax function in managing tax risk, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

  1. Payroll and VAT Management

Assist with the management of monthly payroll and VAT returns, ensuring timely submission and reconciliation.

The Successful Applicant

  1. Qualifications and Experience

Qualified accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience, with commercial awareness and good Excel skills.
