About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Researcher to join our team at Opinion Research Services. As a Field Researcher, you will be responsible for collecting key survey data on a range of social issues to inform future public policy decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-home interviews with members of the public to collect data on social issues
  • Work independently to organize and manage your own schedule, visiting randomly selected areas and addresses to conduct interviews
  • Use a tablet computer to record answers and complete surveys
  • Attend briefings with project managers to receive instructions and guidance on survey purposes and questions
  • Collaborate with local supervisors to receive support and feedback on performance

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in market research interviewing is essential
  • Fully IQCS trained and able to provide a reference to prove this
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to discuss sensitive issues
  • Self-motivated, reliable, flexible, and able to manage your own time effectively
  • Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) clearance required before work can be allocated
