SGS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team in Ellesmere Port. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory by providing administrative support and managing stock levels.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the laboratory team, including preparing high-value invoices and managing stock levels.
- Coordinate the movement of stock around the site and collaborate with Team Leaders to manage stock levels.
- Raise requisitions and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock.
- Assist in the preparation of project-related documents and reports.
- Collaborate with the laboratory team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Experience in stock control and management, preferably in a laboratory setting.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Desirable: FLT and warehouse experience.
