Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Optical Assistant to join our team in Central Brighton. As an Optical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our optometrists and dispensing opticians in providing exceptional eyecare services to our customers. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will be required to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist optometrists and dispensing opticians in providing eyecare services to customers
  • Dispense glasses and contact lenses to customers
  • Process transactions and handle customer payments
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an opticians or similar environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of eyecare services and products
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
