Job Overview

Cera Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Advocate Assistant to join our team in the Southampton area. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of individuals with mental health conditions and a history of substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with mental health conditions and a history of substance misuse in their daily lives
  • Communicate and promote positive behavior, identifying triggers to prevent escalations of stressful situations
  • Handle emergencies and crisis situations using de-escalation techniques to diffuse situations
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £23,000 per annum, as well as a range of benefits including enhanced bank holiday pay, holiday pay, and a pension scheme. You will also receive free DBS, company mobile phone, and uniform provided. Additionally, you will have access to our benefits & discounts platform WeCare and be eligible for the Blue Light Card Scheme.

Requirements
  • A driving license is essential for this role, and you will need to transport clients to activities and appointments
