Job Description
Our client, a leading contractor in the aerospace industry, has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join their Prefabrication Team in Banbridge.
As the Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for supervising the production process to ensure that all products meet quality expectations and escalate any issues to the Prefabrication Manager. You will also be responsible for performing quality stage inspections and factory acceptance testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that production units match all approved drawings and specifications.
- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
- Ensure that all quality checks are completed and recorded within the quality management system.
- Report inspection and test data.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office is required.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques is essential.
- Full driving license with access to own transport is required.
Desirable Criteria:
- GCSE at Grade C or above in Mathematics and English Language or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of weld inspection is desirable.
- Understanding of Electrical or Mechanical Schematics is an advantage.
- Certification in quality control is preferred.
