Autism Support Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Autism Support Specialist to join our team. As an Autism Support Specialist, you will work closely with teachers and teaching assistants to provide educational support to students with autism. You will develop and implement strategies to promote inclusion and participation in learning activities, and collaborate with other professionals to ensure that students receive comprehensive support.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support students with autism
- Collaborate with teachers and teaching assistants to provide educational support to students
- Provide guidance and advice to teachers on strategies for supporting students with autism
- Work with other professionals to ensure that students receive comprehensive support
Requirements:
- Degree in Education or a related field
- Experience working with students with autism
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations
Salary:
$38,000-$48,000 per year, depending on experience.
