Job Title: Autism Classroom Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional teacher to lead our autism classroom and inspire students with autism to reach their full potential. As an Autism Classroom Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans and creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Job Description
  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of students with autism.
  • Collaborate with the wider school community to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting students with autism.

This role requires a high level of expertise and passion for working with students with autism. As an Autism Classroom Lead, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of these students and contribute to the success of the school.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Significant experience of working with students with autism and other disabilities.
  • Expertise in PECS, Makaton, TEACCH, and Team Teach methodologies.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a senior leadership position with a competitive benefits package, including comprehensive training and ongoing professional development opportunities.
