Logistics Coordinator Job Description

Randstad Sourceright is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and control of inventory, investigating and resolving purchase order discrepancies, and contributing to continuous improvement activities in the stores department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce stock accuracy and control through annual stock checks and perpetual stock checks.
  • Investigate and rectify purchase order discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to stores continuous improvement activities to optimize inventory management and reduce errors.
  • Carry out asset transfers using CORMAP MMS, ensuring correct location of installed assets against production records.
  • Populate serial numbers for missing rotating assets and verify production recording sheets are complete.
  • Report configuration discrepancies to the production supervisor and highlight missing fields within CORMAP Work Orders.
  • Assist with CORMAP MMS administration tasks as required by the Bogie Service Centre.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in logistics or stores is preferred.
  • General office skills and good organizational skills are essential.
  • Comfortable working in a factory environment.
  • IT competent with experience in SAP (desirable).
