Class 2 Driver Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our Huddersfield based client as a Recruit A Driver HGV Driver.

About the Role:

As a Recruit A Driver HGV Driver, you will be responsible for meeting the requirements of the business, with a proven track record in a similar type of role for at least 1 year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Start times: 06.30 start
  • Shift pattern: Monday - Friday
  • Workload: usually a delivery only or collect and delivery, 3 or 4 drops or collections

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Class 2 UK license for a minimum of 12 months
  • Must have experience driving a Class 2 vehicle within the last six months, ideally 12 months
  • Must have no more than 6 points on license for minor offences
  • Must hold an in date Digital Tachograph Card
  • Must have an up to date CPC Qualification Card
