Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Infection Prevention and Control Team as a Senior Healthcare Support Worker. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team in delivering the IPCT service, including audits, education, outbreak/incident investigation, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Support the IPCT team in the delivery of the IPCT service
- Conduct audits and investigations to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and deliver education programs to promote infection prevention and control practices
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and coordination
- SVQF level 7 qualification (e.g. SVQ3 in Healthcare) or equivalent knowledge gained in a relevant area through experience
- Awareness of infection prevention control is advantageous
