Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the ongoing review and upkeep of quality manuals, operational guidelines, and product specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant external standards, including BRC and ISO 9001, while ensuring the business aligns with internal policies.
- Lead the implementation of BRC9 systems and serve as the main representative during external audits.
- Develop, oversee, and audit all food safety protocols and procedures.
- Manage and maintain all food safety and quality assurance policies, including risk assessments and safety systems
- Handle the Customer & Supplier Complaint systems, including investigating issues, resolving product non-conformities, and liaising with customers.
- Perform additional duties as required to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences, food science, or chemistry (preferred).
- Experience in manufacturing or logistics (beneficial).
- Knowledge of chemical storage and/or distribution processes (advantageous).
Key Competencies:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiar with ERP and database systems.
- A customer-first approach with a positive attitude.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.
