About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cycle Technician Team Leader to join our team at First Call Contract Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of mechanics, assigning daily tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of mechanics, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
  2. Perform a variety of repairs, from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement.
  3. Maximize operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks assigned.
  4. Identify issues and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles.
  5. Maintain safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse.
  6. Evaluate team performance and provide feedback.
  7. Oversee and train new mechanics, maintaining a team-oriented environment.
  8. Additional job-related tasks as assigned.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience as a mechanic in the automotive/transportation industry.
  2. An Electrical engineering or mechanic background, with qualifications such as Cytech level 2 or similar.
  3. Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 30kg on a frequent basis.
  4. Ability to operate a mobile device, including knowledge of in-app based workflows.
  5. Good communication skills and ability to read and follow instructions.
  6. Willingness to learn, a great attitude, and ability to work well with others.

Shifts are 9am - 5pm, and you will be paid £15 per hour, paid weekly.
