Care and Support Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Care and Support Specialist to join our dedicated care team at Maplebrook Care Home.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Empower residents to maintain their independence by assisting with daily routines and promoting positive choices.
  • Provide personalized care and support to each resident, adhering to their individualized care plans and addressing their unique needs.
  • Monitor residents' health and well-being, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager and collaborating with healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
  • Foster social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces in collaboration with housekeepers, responding promptly to emergencies or call bells.
  • Assist residents who require additional support with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Prioritize resident satisfaction and well-being, striving to bring joy to their lives every day.


Requirements:


  • Preferred Qualification: SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
  • Desirable Experience: At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, with a passion for caring for the elderly and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Essential Values: A genuine interest in caring for the elderly, integrity, respect, and a strong sense of teamwork.
