Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil & Structural Designer to join our team at Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics. As a Senior Civil & Structural Designer, you will be responsible for developing and preparing detailed civil and structural design documents, including layouts, modelling, GA & detail drawings.

You will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams and clients to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and safely. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering accurate and high-quality civil and structural design documentation.
  2. Engaging with cross-disciplinary teams and clients to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and safely.
  3. Generating design deliverables in order to meet project requirements and schedule.
  4. Upholding the highest standards of quality and safety in line with industry regulations.
  5. Contributing to identifying and delivering work process improvements.
  6. Ensuring all designs comply with relevant industry standards and client requirements.
  7. Collaborating effectively with project teams to achieve project objectives.
  8. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in civil and structural engineering.
  9. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the design team.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  1. A HND in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline and/or minimum 5 years relevant experience.
  2. Relevant experience in design software.
  3. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  4. A self-starter who can also thrive in team settings.
  5. A commitment to ethical and professional standards.
  6. Genuine enthusiasm for engineering and continuous personal development.
