Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Quality Compliance Engineer to join our team at GE Aerospace - Dowty Propellers. This role will be responsible for ensuring all products and processes comply with aviation regulations and aerospace industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure compliance with international management systems standards such as AS9100 CAA Part21 and Part145.
  2. Act as ISM (Independent Systems Monitoring) for Part21J.
  3. Interpret and stay current with aviation regulations, including but not limited to CAA EASA, FAA.
  4. Lead development and continuous improvement of Quality business systems and procedures using lean methodologies.
  5. Manage the Company's portfolio of external and customer Quality approvals.
  6. Update company expositions and QMS procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  7. Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with QMS and aviation regulations.
  8. Provide training and support to employees on company quality procedures, standards, and aviation regulations.

Requirements

  1. Significant experience in Quality & Aviation Standards.
  2. Working knowledge of CAA Part 21J, Part21G and Part21J regulations.
  3. Emerging regulations related to SMS (Safety Management System).
  4. Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 requirements.
  5. Experience in implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems.
  6. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  7. Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.
