About the Role:As a Night Coordinator, you will lead and manage the quality of nursing care for service users during night shifts, ensuring the service runs smoothly. You will be a pivotal member of the operational management team, supporting Nurses, Senior Nurses, and clinical teams across Pinhoe View during the night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing leadership and support to nursing staff on night shifts across wards.
- Undertake clinical supervision with night staff.
- Identify any night-time cost pressures and take steps to minimise/eradicate their impact on the budget.
- Manage staff allocation, redeployments, and daily numbers on the ward and additional use of premium rate staff to ensure budget is tightly controlled and effectively managed.
- Work closely with the on-site staff coordinator to ensure adequate staffing is considered and booked for the night and day teams.
- Provide statistics and reports as required by the Hospital Director/Deputy Hospital Director
- Relevant experience as RMN/RNMH/RNLD
- First level nurse with evidence of professional development, relevant skills and knowledge
- Awareness of the wider Healthcare economy and political environment
- Relevant Clinical Experience in a similar environment
- Proven track record of leadership skills
- Annual Salary of £48,287
