Job Role: Surveillance Business Analyst

Minimum Requirements:
Proven track record as a Business Analyst within the Financial Services industry (essential)
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business users, project managers, and development teams to gain a deep understanding of the surveillance infrastructure and business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops with third-party vendors and business users to capture and document surveillance requirements.
- Conduct detailed data analysis and provide mapping solutions to onboard new products onto the strategic real-time surveillance platform.
- Work with vendor and internal teams to define a solution for business requirements/issues where identified, engaging with the Quality Assurance (QA) testing teams as needed.
- Understand the impacts and dependencies that proposed solutions might influence and respond accordingly.
- Create and maintain design specification documents for trade surveillance alert models.
- Provide QA testing teams with detailed acceptance criteria for all business requirements.
- Liaise with surveillance analysts to lead the troubleshooting and triaging of production issues to drive root cause identification and resolution.
- Run detailed tuning analysis and recommend appropriate alert model parameters for business users to validate across different asset classes and instruments.
- Support UAT testing to validate the business readiness of each surveillance software release.
- Document, track, and escalate risks and issues to project lead as necessary.
- Participate in daily scrums, backlog refinement sessions, project status meetings, and sprint retrospectives.
Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of software development processes and procedures (essential)
Technical background and an understanding of financial products (essential)
Familiarity with agile methodology and testing frameworks (desirable)
