Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic individual to join our team as an Unqualified Primary Classroom Assistant. As part of the EDEX team, you will provide critical support to teachers in delivering engaging lessons and creating tailored learning materials.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. They will be passionate about teaching and committed to making a positive impact on pupils' lives.

Role Expectations
  • Collaborate with the Classroom Teacher to develop and deliver lessons, incorporating pupil feedback and progress tracking
  • Assist in maintaining a well-organized and inclusive classroom space, adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Provide targeted support to pupils through 1:1 and group interventions, addressing their academic and social needs
Compensation and Terms
  • Competitive daily rate of £105 - £115 (Term-time only)
  • Full-time position available immediately
  • Located in the heart of Barnet, with easy access to public transport
