Technical Director

Finlay Jude Associates Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing product and process development activities to meet company R&D / Marketing objectives.

• Advising customers on choice of fabrics, specification enquiries, and properties.
• Co-ordinating internal and external non-conformances / complaints to ensure timely root cause analysis, corrective action and continuous improvement of manufacturing operations.
• Providing on time release documentation to customers in accordance with stated requirements.
• Ensuring Cost of Quality KPI's are monitored and necessary corrective actions are taken to achieve targets.
• Assisting in the development of all employees in respect of quality management systems / standards & customer requirements.
• Recruiting, hiring, and training technical staff.
• Motivating and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
• Fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Addressing performance issues and providing constructive feedback.

• Experience in textiles or chemical manufacturing is essential.
• Strong technical skills and experience in the relevant field.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A problem-solving mentality and the ability to think critically.
