About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Team Leader to join our team at Edgewood School, a brand-new residential school setting for children with moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism, and associated challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of up to 15 Residential Support Workers to ensure an outstanding level of care is provided at all times.
  • Model best practice and create a fun, engaging environment for the young people.
  • Ensure the best interests of the young people are at the heart of everything we do.
  • Empower and inspire the team to provide high-quality care and support.

Requirements:

  • A level 3 or level 4 diploma in residential childcare or willingness to work towards.
  • 2 years' experience in a similar setting.
  • Ability to supervise and support a care team.
