Job Overview

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves managing Site QC activities associated with Fine Fragrance products and raw material ingredients. You will lead QC evaluations, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical expertise to support sensory assessments and investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough QC evaluations and troubleshoot products and ingredients
  • Manage analytical processes and tasks applicable to the Site
  • Provide technical expertise on multiple aspects of materials and processes involved in sensory, manufacturing, and raw materials
  • Perform sensory assessments for materials in scope
  • Lead investigations in case of non-conformance associated with sensory evaluation parameters
  • Coach QC staff to improve their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Vocational diploma in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or related discipline
  • University degree
  • Overall work experience of 5+ years in a similar position
  • Previous background in Sensory Evaluation from within the Fragrance industry
  • Continuous Improvement experience
Preferred Skills
  • Fluent in English; speaking and understanding French is desirable
  • Laboratory or QC techniques required
  • Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous materials, and related local regulations
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Givaudan offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
