About the Role

The Manchester Thrive Hub is a single point of entry to Manchester's Emotional Wellbeing Services. As a Thrive Hub Assistant Practitioner, you will work within one of the three Manchester locality M Thrive Hubs (North, Central, South) to provide advice, information, and signposting to wellbeing services.

You will act as an enabler and system supporter, working closely with local services to develop an integrated community response to meet the wellbeing needs of children, young people, families, and carers.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Support the M Thrive team in navigating young people, parents, and carers who have not been accepted by local emotional health and wellbeing services but need support.
  2. Hold complex and high-level conversations with young people and families, facilitating positive behaviour change to access community neighbourhood offers.
  3. Manage challenging conversations with young people and families regarding referrals, ensuring expectations are handled sensitively to promote engagement.
