About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Service Manager to join our team at Voyage Care Ltd. As a Deputy Service Manager, you will play a key role in leading our residential service in Axminster, providing exceptional care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of colleagues to deliver high-quality care and support services
  • Develop and implement person-centered support plans to promote independence and well-being
  • Conduct care needs assessments and complete medication competencies and audits
  • Recruit and induct new colleagues, complete supervisions and appraisals
  • Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and complete reports
  • Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a care management role
  • A Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors
