Child Development Coordinator

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Learning Assistant to join our team at one of our Islington-based special schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting class teachers in managing classroom behavior and fostering a positive learning environment, as well as supporting students with learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored educational and therapeutic interventions to students aged 11-18 who have a range of SEN requirements
- Supporting class teachers in managing classroom behavior and fostering a positive learning environment
- Building strong relationships with students to help them achieve their educational and personal goals
- Gaining hands-on experience in education and training environments, working closely with SEN professionals
Requirements:
- A background in psychology, education, or a related field
- Passion for supporting young people with special educational needs
