Seaham Harbour, a vital hub for sea trade and international shipping routes, requires a skilled marine pilot to ensure safe passage of vessels. As a key member of the UK Harbour Masters' Association team, you will play a crucial role in upholding maritime safety standards.

The Role
  1. You will be responsible for guaranteeing the safe passage of vessels entering and leaving the harbour.
  2. A minimum STCW OOW certificate of competency is mandatory.
  3. Relevant ship handling experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  4. A valid driving licence is also required.
  5. Your excellent communication skills and fluency in English are essential for success in this role.
  6. An ENG1 Medical Certificate is necessary for this position.

Estimated salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
