Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  2. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement financial plans and budgets, working closely with the CFO and other senior leaders to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
  3. Accounting and Financial Operations: Oversee the accounting and financial operations functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
  4. Financial Systems and Processes: Implement and maintain financial systems and processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
  5. Financial Analysis and Advisory: Provide financial analysis and advisory services to senior leaders, supporting informed decision-making and strategic planning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in non-profit accounting, preferably in a museum setting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
