About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technologist to join our team at Ardo UK. As a key member of our technical department, you will play a vital role in maintaining and developing relationships with our customers and suppliers, ensuring timely responses to technical enquiries and providing premier technical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example and take a hands-on operational approach to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Contribute ideas and solutions to improve the team's service delivery and drive vendor compliance.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and colleagues, to ensure a good working relationship.
- Translate customer requirements into actionable plans and ensure that products are produced to specification.
- Monitor labelling and ensure that it displays all correct and specified information.
- Support the Technical Manager in preparing and during customer audits, and assist the site HACCP team.
- Issue certificates of analysis for customers as agreed with the commercial team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Food Safety training and HACCP Level 3.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within the Food Manufacturing Industry.
- Good level of PC literacy and ability to navigate and create specifications, questionnaires, and SAQs.
- Proactive attitude, excellent time management, and ability to work on own initiative but also as a team.
- Understanding of Microbiology and hazards, and experience with retail standards and expectations.
