About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Autism Learning Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making a positive impact on the development of young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with students, demonstrating compassion, patience, and understanding.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and report to the SEN team to ensure targets are met.
  • Collaborate with the school's staff to develop and implement individualized plans for each student.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working with students with SEND, particularly those with autism and PMLD.
  • Relevant qualifications and training, such as a teaching assistant certificate or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
